Client kudos: Franco Sagliocca of Mount Sinai Health System

July 17, 2018

Mount Sinai Health System was one of the first hospitals to implement JumpStock as a supply chain management solution, and their eight hospitals in New York continue to use JumpStock to manage inventory from the loading dock to the procedure room. It’s no surprise, then, that we were thrilled to see Global Healthcare Exchange LLC recognize Franco Sagliocca, Mount Sinai’s corporate supply chain director, for the central role he has played in modernizing inventory management throughout the Mount Sinai system.

Franco received the 2018 GHXcellence Award for Supply Chain Leadership May 8 at the GHX Healthcare Supply Chain Summit in Las Vegas. GHX presents the awards each year to provider and supplier organizations that find innovative ways to remove waste, cut costs, and improve patient care through supply chain automation.

Mount Sinai partnered with Jump Technologies starting in 2015 to develop a better way to process deliveries. In a matter of days after our JumpStock solution was implemented, processing time dropped from 132 seconds per package to 23.72 seconds per package. Improvements have continued in the years since. Using JumpStock, Mount Sinai improved visibility into its supply chain and gained the ability to track supplies from the moment they arrive at the dock to the moment they reach the patient.

Mount Sinai has been a fantastic partner in the years since they started working with Jump Technologies, and we appreciate Franco’s leadership and commitment to excellence. We congratulate Franco and the entire Mount Sinai team on this well-deserved recognition.
