Jump Technologies Appoints Sophie Rutherford as Vice President of Business Development

Eagan, MN – August 6, 2015 – Jump Technologies®, an innovative software company that provides cloud-based mobile solutions for inventory management in hospitals, today announced the appointment of Sophie Rutherford as vice president of Business Development. In this role, Rutherford will lead business development efforts to enable Jump Technologies to quickly and efficiently deliver its established inventory and supply management solutions to healthcare provider organizations.

With 20 years of healthcare experience, Rutherford’s career has steadfastly focused on improving the healthcare supply chain to create a more efficient and sustainable industry. Her early career experience includes serving as Director of Materials Management for Nix Healthcare system. Rutherford then joined HCA as Supply Chain Implementation Manager, where she assessed, analyzed and implemented Supply Chain process improvements at a corporate level. Her hands on experience and knowledge of supply chain business processes helped her effectively transition to roles with supply chain solution vendors delivering services to healthcare organizations. Rutherford most recently served as a Provider Enterprise Solutions Executive for GHX, where she was a leader in driving sales performance and customer success.She was Enterprise Solutions Executive of the Year in 2014 and a member of the prestigious President’s Club every year since its inception.

Rutherford brings a strong blend of customer focus, business strategy, innovation and execution. Throughout her career, Rutherford has successfully implemented new processes and technology to improve supply chain results at provider organizations.

Rutherford is based in the Roanoke, Virginia area, where she resides with her husband and three sons.
