James Bellon Joins Jump Technologies, Inc. to Advance Development of Hospital System Integration

Eagan, MN – January 14, 2014 – Jump Technologies®, an innovative software company that provides cloud-based mobile solutions for inventory management in hospitals, today announced James Bellon has joined the organization as senior system integration engineer. In this role, Bellon will lead the development of system integration strategies that enable Jump Technologies to quickly and effectively bring its established inventory management solutions into direct communication with current hospital systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

With more than 22 years’ experience in developing deep integration to connect healthcare technology vendor solutions with hospital ERP systems, Bellon will be advancing new integration strategies for JumpTech’s healthcare offerings including the JumpStockTM inventory management solution. Bellon will be focused initially on enhancing key integration interfaces between JumpStock and the five largest ERP systems used in hospitals today, including PeopleSoft, Infor (Lawson), SAP, McKesson and Meditech. Bellon will leverage his extensive experience to develop interfaces for requisitioning systems, billing, receiving, item master updates and inventory depletion, fully integrating inventory intelligence into a hospital’s cross-functional network.

Bellon began his work in healthcare systems in the early 1990s, spending seven years at Cardinal Health (Pyxis) as an application engineer and advancing to regional director of Engineering. He joined Neoforma in 2001, and through acquisition, became senior integration engineer at GHX (Global Healthcare Exchange), and held advancing positions in Integration and Product Management at GHX through 2014. Bellon has specialized in developing integration with Lawson ERP systems, and has experience with all systems commonly used by hospitals.

“Jim’s focus at Jump Technologies will not only be on how to make systems work together more efficiently, but also how to create integration that is simpler, with lower upfront investment and a reduction of the time spent by hospital IT resources,” says John Freund, CEO of Jump Technologies, Inc. “With Jim’s experience in leading teams that cross hospital systems, their vendors and a range of business partners, he will be able to advance the methods that have been used previously to create integration between hospitals systems and vendor solutions. As a cloud-based company, we’re continually looking for ways to reduce the strain put on hospital systems by reducing the upfront costs and offering easier ways to implement new technology.”

Bellon served his country as a United States Marine, receiving numerous medals and commendations for his service. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering and a minor in computer services. Bellon is certified in Product Management by Agile Product Owner for software methodologies, as well as New Product Development Professional (NPDP) Certification and Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) Certification.
