Jump Technologies, Inc. Announces Key Achievements of 2015

Eagan, MN – December 15, 2015 – Jump Technologies, Inc., an innovative software company with solutions that improve supply management in hospitals, today announced a list of major accomplishments of 2015, a year of significant growth for the organization. In an era when health systems must seek new ways to reduce costs and increase efficiencies, JumpTech has continued to expand its portfolio of cloud-based mobile solutions that reduce labor, reduce costs, and enable more automated and accurate supply management. The following are among the most significant accomplishments of Jump Technologies in 2015:

1) Launched New Cloud-based Supply Management Solutions
JumpTech introduced two new solutions for receiving and package tracking within healthcare systems:

Both InnerTrack and InnerTrack with Receiving are currently in use in hospitals throughout the United States.

2) Completed New System Integrations
With continued hospital reliance on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, integration between the ERP and JumpTech solutions to enable data sharing is an essential component of advancing customer efficiencies. This year, the JumpTech integration team created new interfaces between JumpStock inventory management and:

For InnerTrack, interfaces have been created for:

The data sharing that is enabled by these interfaces helps extend the investment already made in ERP systems while greatly increasing the functionality with new cloud-based mobile technology.

3)Significant Business Growth
Healthcare systems have looked to JumpTech to help build new automation and efficiencies in their supply management processes, extending the reach of their current ERP system. From year end 2014 to year end 2015, the number of healthcare facilities using JumpStock for inventory management and / or InnerTrack for package receiving and tracking has doubled, increasing by 100 percent. This demonstrates the need of supply chain leaders in healthcare systems to improve productivity, increase automation, reduce costs, and reduce problems resulting from poor inventory management processes, and recognizes JumpTech’s ability to meet those needs with continually enhanced cloud-based solutions.

4)Deepened Healthcare Industry Expertise
JumpTech continues to grow in industry expertise, this year adding two senior level staff members with deep hospital and healthcare experience in supply chain and technology. Joining this year: James Bellon, senior system integration engineer, with over 20 years’ experience developing deep integration to connect healthcare technology vendor solutions with hospital ERP systems and Sophie Rutherford, vice president of Business Development, bringing over 20 years of healthcare supply chain experience and a focus on improving technology and business processes to create a more efficient and sustainable industry.

5) Business Recognition
JumpTech was recognized for providing the technical infrastructure behind one of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive “100 Great Supply Chain Projects.” In a collaborative effort with Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, JumpTech received this award which honors supply chain solution and service providers helping their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence, producing measureable gains in ROI through cost-cutting and increased efficiency.

In addition, John Freund, CEO of JumpTech was featured in a segment on the business series “Corporate Review,” an award winning program which airs on Fox Business News and Bloomberg TV. An onsite interview highlighting the JumpTech InnerTrack solution at a major New York City hospital was included the segment.

6) Business Development
JumpTech advanced industry relationships to make solutions highly accessible to all hospitals and healthcare systems by signing agreements with regional group purchasing organizations, including GNYHA, Illucient and Capstone Alliance. Additionally in 2015, JumpTech announced an agreement with the Rural Health Alliance, to help smaller rural hospitals grow their technology infrastructures.

“With the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services reporting 27 percent of hospitals at a negative operation margin in 2013, and an expectation that this number will reach 28 to 30 percent by 20191, it’s increasingly clear that hospitals must find new ways to reduce costs,” said John Freund, CEO, Jump Technologies. “Throughout the year, the team at JumpTech has remained laser-focused on delivering new technology solutions that help bridge gaps in the ERP systems used in hospitals today. Hospitals must have access to affordable, easily implemented technology so they can quickly and continually increase productivity while reducing costs.”
