As the cold winter wears on, we are pleased to announce that we will soon be traveling to Orlando, Fla., to take part in the 2014 HIMSS Conference & Exhibition from February 23-27. At the event, we will be among the more than 37,000 healthcare IT professionals, clinicians, executives and vendors from locations all over the world.
During our five days at the Orange County Convention Center, we will have the opportunity to learn more about innovative health IT products, participate in thought leadership sessions and listen to addresses from keynote speakers, such as former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Other speakers will include: Mark Bertolini, CEO of Aetna; Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; and Erik Weihenmayer, author and the first person without sight to summit Mount Everest.
This year at HIMSS14 will be the first for a few different innovations on the exhibit floor that we are excited to see and interact with. They include:
- The newly reimagined Interoperability Showcase, which will demonstrate the importance of connected health and patient empowerment
- Two Knowledge Centers, where attendees can learn more about the most recent news in the world of clinical and business analytics/intelligence and mobile health
- The Connected Patient Learning Gallery, which will allow health IT providers to showcase their e-engagement solutions and products in interactive ways
We are exhibiting our JumpStock hospital inventory management solutions on the show floor, in the Mobile Health Knowledge Center, Booth 7745-15. We will also be speaking on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 2:30 - 3:00 pm EST. If you're interested in setting up a meeting time with us, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!
